Hi, I’m Leahanne.
Like many, I grew up struggling with my weight and negative body image. I didn’t have guidance on how to properly ‘feed’ my body, and spent many years following restrictive, calorie counting diets that did more harm than good. I didn’t understand how food (and the improper use and restriction of it) would impact both my physical and mental health.
When I was 21, I joined a weight loss program and was introduced to healthy weight loss. It was then that I found a passion for nutrition and wellness. Through learning to nourish and heal my body properly, I was able to enjoy the food I was eating and successfully lost 60 pounds. I maintained a healthy weight for 20 years until I hit my forties. Welcome to perimenopause! My weight crept up 30 pounds throughout my 40s and by my 50th birthday, I was heavier than I had been in years. I needed to figure out how to deal with menopause, fluctuating hormones, and the natural process of aging. I had to face the fact that my body was changing and what worked before wasn’t necessarily going to work now. I took my nutrition to the next level and went back to school.
Becoming a Certified Holistic Health & Nutrition Coach is more than just business for me. It’s about paying it forward to help other women avoid the challenges I faced due to misinformation. I’m always learning and want to share that knowledge with those who are ready to take their health and nutrition to the next level.

Keeping the body mobile, flexible, strong and sustaining is key for your health. Choose ways to move that you love and aim for a minimum of 30 minutes a day.

Hydration is key for proper bodily functions. Water is one of the most important essential nutrients you consume. Without it, you can’t survive.

Often overlooked, the need for quality sleep is essential. It’s important to get 7-8 hours of sleep per night to maximize your health.
